The Goal:

Open School Program:

The Open School Program (NIOS) is for recipients of sufficient age from 15 to her 50s. There are NIOS educational programs and academic guidance and help for life and sensitive skills.

These include employability skills, career guidance and interview preparation skills. Her NIOS School in Mumbai provides a channel to choose from through its Open Distance Learning (ODL) teaching methodology to help small groups who may not have been able to attend classes beforehand due to physical or social inaccessibility. The Open School Program was launched in 2006 at the IIT Bombay Campus.
